Taking care of our school’s green garden

In this project students have used the school green garden as a laboratory to foster creativity, movement, knowledge, problem-solving and deductive-inductive scientific method.

The pupils have learned valuable gardening and agriculture concepts (ogm free, biodynamic culture, organic food,…) and skills that integrate with several subjects (art, maths, technology, science, citizenships, etc.). There have been 6 modules, from October to May, with interactive activities and webinars carried out by the pupils in national and international teams.

Mod 2, November:

Mod 4, January – February:

•  webinar.

Mod 5, March-April:

•  transplanting in the ground activities

•  collective activities (quizzes, challenges, etc.) to plan

•  webinar.

Mod 6, May:

•  conclusion and farewell activities

•  project evaluation: pupils’ and teachers’ self-evaluation (questionnaire/survey: strong and weak points, hint for improvement and replicability of the project)

•  final webinar
